Hello, We definitely appreciate your purchase and your review! In order to know which firmware version you are on, please follow these steps: 1.- Open the Google home app. 2.- Tap devices and you will find the Bluetooth speaker on it. 3.- Scroll to find the device card for the Google home you'd like to find the firmware version for. Also, I would like to inform you that the device automatically looks for updates daily. If you want to manually update it, do a factory reset and the device will search and download the latest update. Alex C. - Insignia Support.
