Supply and demand. If they are selling 4 black sets for every 1 silver, why would they make the black cheaper? You said you wanted black, and clearly more people wanted black so they discounted the silver to try and reduce stock. It's like how when buying a car to get one color over another it costs more when it's still the same amount of painting time and materials. If they truly are the same, color shouldn't matter, you can't see them while wearing them anyway. They aren't charging more for black, it's MSRP, they're just charging less for silver.
