“Like many people I just started working from home. How am I supposed to know how many pages I print, until I use my printer for a month? Can I use up the ink that came with the printer then put new cartridges in and sign up for Instant Ink?”

The instant ink cartridges will give you 50 pages. After that you will need to wait for ink to be sent. This is not instant.

After you set up the printer, then you will setup the printer by visiting https://www.hpinstantink.com. We recommend trying a higher plan than you think you might print in a month. Then, you can look at your print history on the HP Instant Ink website to see how many pages you actually printed. This will allow you to adjust to the right plan for you. You can change your plan at any time. You can roll over up to 3 months worth of pages. For example, if you have the 100 page plan, you can rollover up to 300 pages. If you do not have any rollover pages, then you can pay $1 for a set of 10 pages.
