You can certainly use the card to add money to your Instant Ink account at any time.  The program will use the money in the account before it pulls from your credit card.

I think you can monitor your payment choice via the website. If you paid once with it, just keep money on the card so they can do the recurring fees. If you haven't created an online account you need to do that and add or remove payment options as you need too.

No you can use the prepaid cards to pay your monthly fee if u want too
