• If the printer has been used, and already set up using the setup cartridges by the previous owner, then you may be able to sign up. However, if the printer was used with HP Instant Ink or was added to the owner’s HP account then using HP Instant will be a more difficult process. If the printer has never been setup yet, and you do not have the setup cartridges, then you may also run into problems.
