“So if I don’t go over my monthly usage. I still have ink in my printer if for some reason I don’t use say 50 sheets in 3-4 months they still send me those new cartridges monthly even if I have not used up the previous ones?”

• Thank you for the question. Instant Ink will send new cartridges when the printer signals that it's running low on ink, and that may not be monthly. You can roll over up to two months of unused (unprinted) pages too.
