• It means it has 8 separate cores, and if it has the capability to be overclocked. in other terms it means to make the processor compute faster then its normal clocked rate. it is possible, but i would recommend having someone that is knowledgeable to do this for you. cause you could crash and damage the processor

• Octa core means 8 cores / 16 threads (hyperthreading) 5GHz is the boost speed it will hit when the system recognises it needs more speed. YOU CAN MANUALLY OVER-CLOCK the CPU, but if you're asking these questions - I wouldn't attempt it if I were you.
