I did that with some zip ties. Seems to be working fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The receiver is thin. You will need about 1-1/4 inch to accommodate the thickness of the receiver. Depending on your bracket and the shape of the TV back you may be able to mount it with double sided tape. I would look for a mount that allows the antenna of the receiver to stick out for best reception. Connection to TV is a typical HDMI cord.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The TX & RX NEED LINE OF SIGHT TO EACH OTHER. That is the only way can communicate over IR. Your Optical IR ON THE TV NEEDS TO SEE THE RX IR so your remote can change channels, volume, etc... The TX NEEDS TO SEE THR IR ON YOUR CANLE BOX OR INTERNET CONNECTION TO TRANSMIT TO THE RX. Otherwise, It will not work. It took a little time to figure that out, but once we did it works great! See attached pictures
