This device can give you an extension of your desktop or a copy of your desktop, that means that you will see any movement of your mouse or input in the keyboard in this screen. The keyboard and mouse will remain connected to your computer. The use of a wireless keyboard will give you the illusion that your TV screen "is" your computer.
I could get it to work using my laptop and the included dongle; however, I was unable to pair it with my Samsung Android phone.

A:AnswerIt should work OK for that. You'll need the proper drivers installed already or available for your operating system because the laptop needs to be compatible with USB video output, and older ones might not be, but odds are it will work for you.
A:AnswerIt’s not gonna work cause this unit is for windows ( wireless display ) or miracast only. The usb is for windows 7. If you have a windows 10 then you don’t need the usb. In short it works for android and windows only.
A:AnswerIt should be listed in the specs on the device. However it is not required with this device. The input is a HDMI connection. It is transmitted to the receiver from your computer via an USB doggle to the receptor which has a HDMI output.
