It has an adhesive pad that u apply to surface then the main assembly has a suction cup that attaches to the pad. Simple to set up but the adhesive pad is one shot deal . I don’t think it’s removable

It is a gel pad that will adhere to your windshield or most dashes. It removes very easily. But over time you will have to clean with an alcohol pad and rinse with hot water.

It is best to get two. It only comes with one dash disc to give the mount better suction and grip. You may be able to purchase extra dash discs, as I used one previously installed for my Garmin GPS. The suction cup is extra sticky and will be difficult to remove but it is possible to be swapped into another vehicle.
