Almost useless if you have divider strips between your rooms or floor types. I have to move it from room to room. Cannot go over anything over 3mm. Seems to be mainly built to avoid carpets, instead of for mopping floors. I have to move it over ten times to do all my rooms. Will be looking more closely at the Roborock vacuum/mop. It says it can go over 2cm-3cm I would not recommend buying this bot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not go over ours.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will go over the thresholds about 50% of the time. If we tell the Braava jet to specifically go to a room that has a threshold it will do it every time, but on a typical morning run it only goes over the threshold if it is really feeling up to it, which is about half the time. lol
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thought I would share how I solved the m6 threshold problem. My issue like others is the threshold was to high for the m6 to clear. So I carefully removed the threshold. Grabbed my sander with 80 grit sand paper and sanded off the bottom the threshold evenly a few millimeters and reattached. Since I sanded the bottom, no refinishing was needed. TIP look at how the threshold sits on your floor I actually sanded less in certain areas than in others because the floor was higher in certain areas. This resulted in a smooth straight lowered threshold. Only took a few minutes to get done. In my situation I was lucky because I had a wooden threshold. That did the trick. Now the m6 can enter my laundry room quite easily and get to its charging station with no problems. Hope that helps someone. Its a great robot, not sure why they wouldn't make the threshold configurable in the app. It must be the reason for so many returns. Love the robot though! Will
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do not get this robot if you have thresholds very large at all. My home has very small rubber threshold dividers between all rooms, and the Braava M6 will not even attempt to go over them. This is a known issue with this mop as can be seen from several forums and many users, and yet iRobot has not mentioned anything to fix the issue. The purpose of a robot mop is the automation feature, so moving the mop into the different rooms physically wasn't what I was hoping for...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO - it does not go over thresholds. Had I realized that I never would have bought it. That renders the mapping capability useless.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The robot is designed to go over all standard thresholds. Its ability to do so will improve over time, as it learns your floors.
