• Most likely they will get stuck. Anything like a string, power cords, show laces, etc get stuck and will require your attention to clear them.

• The Roomba i3 cleaning behavior depends on the weight of the rugs and the length of the fringe. If the rug is a bit heavier, or secured with a rug mat, Roomba may simply drive over the fringe. If Roomba can't drive over it, its anti-tangle technology will cause it to back up and away from the fringe.

• The vacuum has two rubber rollers on the bottom so I would think yes it may get tangled.
