• Mine hasn’t had any issues going over my transition strips between flooring, and I’ve stubbed my toes on the strips a time or two so they stand tall enough apparently

• Yes it should. I put up a magnetic barrier so that it would NOT enter a room and it went over it (though that was not what I wanted)
