Is this a mapping vac? null

Great question Tim. The Roomba i3 doesn’t have Smart Mapping capabilities for room-by-room navigation. The i3 uses floor navigation sensors and its soft touch bumper to effectively navigate your whole floorplan and will recharge and resume cleaning where it left off as many times as necessary to get the job done.

This is not a mapping vacuum, even though it says it is.

When it is done cleaning, you will get a map of where it cleaned. However!! You can't use the map for anything. You can't tell it to only vacuum one room and not the other. If you want that, you need an i7+ or i9.
