(1) may work, however, it may require additional power by attaching a USB-C power adapter (60W) to the power delivery port to ensure maximum performance. Please check to make sure that a computer supports USB Power Delivery features to allow additional power to the USB ports, as well as DisplayPort v1.2 Alt Mode to transmit audio and video signals if you decide to use the HDMI port.
