“Can I use the USB-C port for data transfer rather than power input?”

• The USB-C power-in port will only support pass-through charge.

• In my usuage if my power supply has data as well as power out(ex. Laptop or tv or some cell phones ) yes that port will work in that manner. I use it to ethernet to a router to rebroadcast my cell data wirelessly.... but solely as data only i dont think so
