- Answer No, the USB-C port on the Nintendo Switch is only for charging, it will not work for outputting video signal to a TV.

- Answer Yes, the JCA379 will work for your phone in displaying HDMI to a TV and charging it. However, if your phone does not support DP alt-mode, it will not provide you with HDMI and therefore, we recommend using the JUA165C instead and that will work for you.
