Dear customer, Thank you very much for your inquiry! Regarding your question about using a basement sump pump, I would like to clarify that the Jackery Explorer E1000 v2 has a rated output power of 1000W, but its peak power allows for higher instantaneous starting power. Generally speaking, small or medium-sized sump pumps often require more than 1000W of instantaneous starting power during drainage, so the E1000 v2 may not be able to guarantee stable power during peak drainage. This is especially true during periods of heavy rain, when the pump cycles every 10 minutes, which may cause a power shortage. If you require safe and reliable backup power for your sump pump, we recommend considering a higher-power model. If you would like to provide the rated power and model of your sump pump, we can help you further determine the most suitable model and configuration. 📧 [email protected] 📞 +1-888-502-2236 (Weekdays 9 AM – 5 PM PST) Wish you a happy life!
