No, they won't adjust without being charged. As far as the bar holding the plates with the weight it had prior to power loss I can't say for sure but mine held the 20lbs it was set on when the base died, but it felt a bit loose or much more loose to my liking.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If for some reason you had a blackout and the base was depleted, then there would be no way for the base to move the inner rod of the dumbbell. You could still use whatever weight was already selected before the depletion and power outage. To be honest, I would not think this should be a concern. If I ran into this situation, I would just hook up the base to a laptop or powerbank to keep the workout going.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Once charged, they are functional for several days. When they are out of battery, you just can't adjust the weights on them. Will work again once you plug in again and recharge.
