• The special edition has fewer ear tips and fins. It comes with only 2 different sized ear tips and I believe 3 fins. The regular ones come with 3 pair of silicone ear tips and 3 pair of foam ear tips and I think 4 different sized fins.

• It comes with fewer earbud options specifically comply foam earbuds which are all the rage. Those as well as others can be purchased at Best Buy separately for a reasonable price. Other than that the product is the same and great.
