QuestionWhen I turn off my TV and then turn on the Soundbar "sound" doesn't come on automatically. Paired yes, I have to play around with TV input to get the sound to play. BlueTooth and HDMI connected ok, just doesn't play sound when tv is turned on. Thanks!

QuestionWorks with eARC? Firmware update ?

- Answer Our JBL Bar 5.1 supports HDMI and ARC, but it doesn't support eARC. eARC is a hardware connectivity specification of soundbars. QuestionHello, I was wondering if I can connect the soundbar with an aux to my monitor? My monitor doesn’t support hdmi arc but does have regular hdmi.

- Answer Yes you can. If your TV has a HDMI hookup just plug the sound bar into it and be sure to set your TV to PCM and it should work.

- Answer The Subwoofer volume will depend on the preference of the user. You can adjust the bass by pressing the Bass - and Bass + on the remote control. The volume level will be the same both with the bar and subwoofer when adjusted using the volume buttons.

QuestionIn the Best Buy Show Room, the salesperson showed us how you could adjust the volume so the voices were clearer. We bought it, took it home and installed it and I don't see where you can adjust voices. How do you turn down the bass?

QuestionMy soundbar keeps switching to tv. Im watching tv then it disconnects & I have to press hdmi on the remote for it to resume as it was. Just started doing this today. What the heck!! Anyone else having this issue. I loved this soundbar but now its a pain.

QuestionI read that NO surround sound is truly wireless. How many wires does this system have and are the speakers wireless? Can I hang the speakers in the back of the room without any wires? Can someone please expalin to me how to set this up and how many wires?

- Answer The main wires you're going to have are the power cables from the outlet to the soundbar and subwoofer. Another cable from your TV to the soundbar. You can get more details through our Owner's manual.

QuestionDo you admit the 3.1 had bluetooth issues. Meaning anyone can pair to it without being in pair mode. So with the 5.1 that does not happen? Just making sure. I have the 3.1 & love it but that's my only gripe. I disconnect at night so it wont happen again.

QuestionWe currently have a karaoke/mic with built in songs that we connect via hdmi to the TV but the sound comes out from the TV speakers delayed. Can I plug in the HDMI from the karaoke straight to this speaker and the picture/lyrics will go to the tv?
