QuestionThese speakers are rated at 2.3 ohms. My Kenwood deck is rated at 4/8 ohms. That would be a bad combo, but JBL says the cone heats up, and with thin-gauge wire, the Ohms are closer to 4, and safe to use. Is this hooey, or do you agree?

- Answer Hi! Our 6.5" speakers are designed to fit to most of the vehicles front/rear door. Yes you could install them with your stock radio, but we highly suggest having an amplifier to maximize the audio quality.

- Answer It should not affect the volume level because the 2.3 value is a nominal impedance. This means that it is the average impedance after it has been tested with different amplifiers.

- Answer Depending on what type of car you got You may have to use a wire Harness or a adapter I had to use a adapter on my Ford Ranger when I put 6 × 8 kenwood Speakers in the door in in the back . If you know how to get to the speaker then look at it like that if not look it up an owner's manual and/or audio shop or on YouTube!!
