Do I need to keep the case close for them to work? null

Hello I don’t believe soI have had it open and it still works but to protect it from getting accidentally broken I keep it closed the sound really good but depending on how loud your cell phone volume goes on your phone as soon as you take them off the dock pod they connect to your device
