I went to Best Buy yesterday to swap my defective Charge 3 for a new one (battery stopped charging). I listened to the Charge 3 compared to the Extreme 2 and the Extreme 2 was much better. The highs were crisper and bass was significantly better!!!

The Extreme 2 is noticeably larger but not unwieldy. 

No contest. Go with the Extreme 2 if the 2x the price isn't an issue.

Yes the Extreme 2 is better than a Charge 3. It has a deeper bass sound. With the FW update it's closer to output when plugged in. 2 charge 3s may give you more of a stereo sound bc you have 2 of them but the bass will not hit as hard. 2 Charge 3s does not equal 1 Extreme 2 and 2 Extreme 2s does not equal 1 Boombox. If you can't afford it then don't even consider it. Buy what you can afford.

Considdering the price: no . 2 charge3 = 1 extreme2! The volume of extreme 2 is way below expectations

Yes lol, the change 3 is not really worth your time bro, either go for the flip 4,xtreme 2, or boombox
