A:AnswerYou clearly know nothing about audio, to those who want a real review: It is true the Xtreme 1 is louder by a few decibels on battery and by 1.5 on AC mode BUT it is way more distorted at higher volumes and it boosts bass way too much around 70 hz, it just sounds like a boomy distorted mess indoors.
The Xtreme 2 goes about 20 hz lower and it is very clear and doesnt distort very much at high volumes. Its tuning is pretty flat compares to most JBL speakers so it is much closer to the actual recording. It is a really good indoor party speaker.
And you dont have to worry about your battery dying after a few months of use like on the Xtreme 1 which many people had a problem with.
A:AnswerThanks for reaching out. Yes, the JBL Xtreme 2 has a Connect + feature where in you can connect multiple speakers at the same time and play the same music with a single Bluetooth device. A:AnswerThank you for your enquiry.
The Xtreme 2 has JBL Connect PLUS Technology, an IPX7 rating (waterproof), and is slightly bigger and heavier - while the Xtreme has JBL Connect, IPX 5 rating (splashproof), but is slightly lighter. Both have the same output (2x20W), but the Xtreme 2 has a bigger frequency response.

A:AnswerIf we're talking about the JBL Connect app.,? Plug in the JBL Xtreme 2 and start the app. If an upgrade is available there will be a RED dot at the bottom of the screen where the gear is. If you tap the gear and go to the next screen, it will tell you what version you're running now and what version is available. Tap the (and I'm paraphrasing) "I have followed the Instructions" button and the app will start to download and install the new version. The process takes about five minutes.

A:AnswerHey Chris, good question. Almost but not quite — our JBL Xtreme 2 allows you to be able to play the same music across multiple speakers with the help of the JBL Connect+ feature. Here's how:
1. Pair your device to speaker A through Bluetooth.
2. Once connected, play music. Then turn on speaker B.
3. Then, press on the Connect+ button on both speakers to start the connection.
You're good to go! If you experience any problems, let us know through the link below — we'll be happy to help you out: https://support.jbl.com/us/en/customer-service/contact.html
A:AnswerSteam gets places water doesn't. Chemicals in hot tubs and whatever else is in your repertoire of showering washes break down seals and reduce or compromise water resistance entirely. So it would not be recommended to put it in a sauna/hot tubs/shower rooms. However you can put it outside of the rooms as it should be loud enough to be heard inside.
A:AnswerThere's NO harm in leaving your Harman portable product connected to electricity at all times. The battery will not overcharge. While plugged in, if the battery charge drops below a certain point, the unit will automatically charge the battery again and then stop when it is fully charged again. This is thanks to the lithium-ion batteries and PCM (Protection Circuit Module) on the speaker.
A:AnswerWe'd best recommend our JBL PartyBox 100 if you're planning to use a speaker for larger spaces. It currently has the same retail price as our JBL Xtreme 2, which is at $349.95. This speaker brings the celebration to a higher level with the LED light show on the speakers' panel. It's also portable with up to 12 hours of playtime and has an output power of 160 watts. A:AnswerClarity is the defining trait of this model. It's clearer at high volume than the larger model is at mid volume. Highs mids and lows are clear.
