I've not had it installed yet, so I can't answer the first part of your question. as to the other parts installation is not included, you have to pay to have it installed and there is only one person who does the installations at the Best Buy I frequent but because I work during normal installation hours, I needed it done on the weekend. it has not yet been installed because the waiting list for weekends is long.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can make and receive calls as long as your phone and radio are synced up via Bluetooth. Installation is included when you buy the radio. Only thing you godda pay during the install is the equipment parts needed to swap your old radio and fit the new radio.
