“Cant figure out how to tilt this down. I moved the lever in the back and tried to tilt it but there was no give. I didnt want to force too much. Any tips? The install video made it look so easy to tilt. Do I have to loosen both sides?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, there is both a lever on one side and a bolt on the other. Loosen the bolt enough where it can be moved without friction. Then use the lever to loosen and move. One in the desired spot, tighten it with the lever. If you want to tighten the bolt on the other side you can, however, the lever will hold it. This allows you to use the lever any time you want to adjust quickly.
