      So many extra parts!

When I first opened the box, I freaked out at how many parts there were, thinking I was going to have to use every one of them, but once I looked through the instructions (mostly photos, but there is an easy-to-follow video online), I realized I would only need a few of them. This item is HEAVY, but it is simple to install. I’m a short female who suffers from severe rheumatoid arthritis, so I have limited abilities when it comes to strength and effort. With just a little help in holding the mount up while I quickly stuck a bolt in the top hole which I had pre-drilled (This is VERY important!), I had this installed in under 30 minutes, and I was having to lean over a desk to reach the wall! Attaching the TV onto the mount took mere seconds, it was so easy. It also has a cardboard key for drilling the holes in exactly the right place to match the mounts, so there is no guess work involved. Be careful not to lay your TV face down, as you may crack it from the pressure of attaching the mount plate. I used my TV box, placed upon my desk and up against the wall, and stood the TV up against the box, which had enough give to prevent cracking the TV. Don’t be alarmed at the amount of parts you will have left over, they are for other types and sizes of TV’s, so put them in your tool box to use for some project or repair you might have in your home in the future! My 32” TV did not require the extended “wings” in order to be mounted. I was able to use only the plate; my TV didn’t have holes for the wings anyway. This is a good product that comes with an instruction booklet, cardboard key (with a fold-out pocket to catch the drilling mess!), list of additional tools or items needed, an online video link, and multiple screws, anchors, small wrenches...everything you need for a variety of sizes of TV’s. There are plastic accessories that appear to be ornamental, at first, but they are actually guides and covers to keep your cables from getting caught in the gears, or just to hide them from view. I can extend the TV out from the wall, swivel it from side to side, and even tilt it down to get better visibility at my desk. I found this item met my needs entirely. I can highly recommend this product!

bought a 48 inch 4k TV this past black Friday and wouldn't you know it, attaching the feet made it too tall to fit in my entertainment center. The TV itself could fit, but not without a mounting bracket and as I looked around, they are not exactly cheap for TVs of that size. Searching around, I stumbled upon this Kanto TV wall mount. It wasn't super expensive, and it didn't look like a junky super cheap construction like almost every other budget mount does. It also had a number of decent reviews. I did not mount this to a wall, I mounted it to the back of my entertainment center. After 6 months, its holding steady and it does the job. Be aware that this arm is slightly tricky to mount. Folded as flat as possible, the plate that attaches to the wall is off set to the left of where the center of the TV will be. The main complaints I have with this arm are as follows: the major articulating joints are extremely stiff and it takes some muscle to get it to swing out in a way where it its centered the way you want it. the joint where the TV attaches is the exact opposite. There's a little vice like device meant to tighten the joint that holds the TV angle. Even tightened as much as possible, its loose enough the TV can be tilted and twisted without much effort. Some of the nuts on the same joint have to be made very tight or else if using a big TV (like me), the TV will tilt down on its own due to gravity. despite these issues, still consider this a good value.

On my screened porch I was in need of a wall mount that could articulate for two different views. We have a two seat seating area that we watch most of the time. The TV is flat against the wall. But, occasionally one of us may want to lie down on the couch to watch TV. The couch is 90 degrees from the two seat area. We can now swing the 50 inch TV 90 degrees to face the couch. Best of all, I created an attachment to the mount that has the sound bar above the TV which allows the sound bar to move with the TV. Just two aluminum straps that are screwed between the mount and the TV with the mount bolts. Then the sound bar wall hanger screwed to the straps above the TV. Very cool and it cost $11 for the straps. The TV is about 40 lbs and the sound bar is another 10. The TV is level against the wall or out 90 degrees. I mounted the surge protector and Direct TV mini box next to the mount wall attachment points and ran the cables in the mount channels. The only exposed wires are the power cable from the wall outlet to the surge protector. NO WIRES!!! This is the best mount I have of 5 in the house.

After purchasing a Kanto mount earlier this year for my 65" TV I knew how well they were made. So when it came time to mount a 55" TV in another room I was going to buy the same mount again. However, after determining the wall it was going on could not use the same mount due to the spacing of the studs I looked into their single stud mounts which would allow my tv to be more in the center of the space I had available. The M300 fit the bill perfectly. It was easy to install and the video instructions on their website made it even easier. The mount is so sturdy I have complete piece of mind that it will hold the tv securely. Kanto are the only mounts I will buy. They are not that much more than other mounts out there, but I find them to be made much better. After all, the tvs cost so much a little more for the mount is worth it for me.

      Wall Mount Does The Trick

This full motion wall mount by Kanto seems to be holding up pretty well. It was easy to install; very self explanatory with easy to understand directions. Everything is included with the mount. It says it holds up to 55", which is what I used it for, but if I had to do it all over again I would've went with the next size up mount. It's been up for a few months now and we do change the positioning of it pretty often and it's starting to creak here and there when we adjust its positon. I'm thinking it's because of the size of the TV(55") (max size this mount was listed as capable of holding). If you are not holding the TV in just the right place, to turn it, this thing makes cracking noises like it's going to break right off(scares me but hubby insists it's solid and not going anywhere. Maybe I'm just paranoid) .. Despite all that though-it's still holding up good.

I bought this for my in-laws. They wanted a mount that would not only tilt, so they could view comfortably, but also wanted to be able to swivel it in the direction they wanted. This mount does all that. My mother in law was concerned about it being bulky on the wall but when not in use it sits around under an inch (double check demintions in specs portion of the details) but sits very close to wall and flat against wall when not in use so she, being my mother in law, was happy with the results and how it hung on the wall. Nice mount and for the size, it holds up to a pretty large tv if u choose.

I must say I impressed myself with this one. I have a hard enough problem with hanging pictures on the wall that i was able to install and hang a 40" Samsung 4k TV on the wall by myself. Everything is included and separated in separate bags for various applications. The website has a link to the video to help install the TV. I relied heavily on the install video and the picture install guide. I researched a ton of these mounts before I decided on this model. For the price, and how far it extends, this is the best mount available.

This wall mount is good. It does what it’s supposed to. I purchased two, as we upgraded two of our TVs. This mount won’t turn your TV 360°, however it does swivel and tilt well. The extender offers some distance from the wall, which is great. I’m using it for a 55” and 50” Samsung and it does wobble some when you reposition the screen, but it is sturdy enough for everyday use. The installation was no walk in the park. It has tons and tons of different screws to use for mounting, but we ended up having to find some around the house to mount the TV onto the arm. That could be the cause of the slight wobble, but it doesn’t deter us from using the mount. If the installation was simpler, this would easily be a 5 star review.
