• The position cannot be locked however it would be difficult to move unless an effort is made to move it.

• captianpete, You can only lock the tilt but you cannot lock the articulating arm into place. The TV will be able to extend and swivel freely. Contact us directly using the support button on our website if you need help with anything else, thanks.
