It depends on how humid the environment is, how often, and what “standing up” means (just occasional moisture vs. sustained dampness, condensation, etc.). They use a cloth cone (woofer) and balanced dome tweeter. They are not listed as marine or weather-proof. The “Road Series” typically assumes installation inside a vehicle where some moisture (from doors/windows/rain) might occur, but not constant exposure.
