Tea has to steep in water. Coffee does not steep, the water simply passes through the grinds. If you don't have a specific tea option on your machine, you will end up with really really really weak tea. The tea leaves have to stay in the hot water for a time to achieve your desired results.

Please try again later.I see why not, but follow the instructions as outlined in the user guide, after running anything other than a regular coffee pod run a cleaning cycle (running water through the system to clean out the puncturing needle) as they tend to easily clog up from anything else other than regular coffee found in the pods.
