A:AnswerIf you have a 1 channel amplifier (mono amplifier) - you cannot have 2 ohm wiring with 2-coil speaker. You either have 1 ohm in parallel wiring or 4 ohms in series. The other option is if your amplifier has 2 outputs supporting 2 ohms, then wire each coil to each amplifier output.

I hooked a jbl gt series 1200w to 4 8’s and could barely get an eighth of an inch of throw out of them and they were very quiet, I hooked a old school fosgate punch 150 to the same 4 subs and they flexed well over an inch and were crazy loud for 8” subs
I would recommend spending the money for a good quality amp like fosgate or sundown or if you really want power a sound digital or taramps
