I’ve personally never seen a good jbl amp..they’re way under powered I hooked a jbl gt series 1200w to 4 8’s and could barely get an eighth of an inch of throw out of them and they were very quiet, I hooked a old school fosgate punch 150 to the same 4 subs and they flexed well over an inch and were crazy loud for 8” subs I would recommend spending the money for a good quality amp like fosgate or sundown or if you really want power a sound digital or taramps
