No it will not I actually tried it using my buddies 2001 Silverado but the seat was on the box before it came down completely and the way it looked like it was a bad place to put the speaker anyway because it's positioned in the box at an angle such that I would expect the speaker to get damaged fairly quickly even if it did fit.
