12 inch subs, between 1000 to 1200 watts
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. While I don't consider myself an audio expert, I have been installing car audio systems on most of my cars for years. To answer your question: I would say this amp can push anything from 8 inches to 12 inches. What matters is the subwoofer RMS power rating and the impedance load (2 ohms vs 4 ohms). The lower the number the more power the amp will generate (as long as the amp is capable of handling the impedance). Also the subwoofer sensitivity affects performance. The higher the sensitivity the louder it will sound with the same amount of power. As long as the sub you choose is within the amplifier rating you should be good. On my setup I am running this amp paired to a Rockford Fosgate R2S-1X12 12" sealed enclosure. The Rockford is a 2 ohm load so the amp is pushing 300 watts RMS which is perfect. Hope this helps.
