Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Honestly, I depends on your desired sound and the type of subs that you have. I bought this sub a few days ago and it was a huge upgrade from my sealed Kicker CompC 10" that I had before. That sub hit pretty good and had a nice clean bass sound, but this sub is exactly what I wanted. I'm rattling things in my car, Which is a Kia Sportage. Ultimately, it comes down to preference. If you have two ported 12" single voice coil subs already in your car, and you want some more trunk space but you don't want to sacrifice sound pressure and quality, then this isn't exactly what you're looking for. I would say, look into purchasing one of the higher end subs from Sundown Audio that's a twelve and dual voice coil. That should provide you with the sound that you are looking for.
