Im running it at 1 ohm on the cxa800.1, it hits pretty hard but my box is on the small side so it could definitely benefit from more space.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's not possible to configure this at 1 ohm. Only options are 2 ohm or 0.5 ohm. These are DVC 2 ohm per coil subs. Options are parallel at 0.5 ohms or series parallel at 2 ohms
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have paired it with other subs I have & got it down to 1 ohm or less & it was fine. I'm sure it was harder on my amp but unless you are going over the sub's rated power handling capacity, impedence wont play much of a role in how the sub performs. It just makes it harder on the amp. Im not sure if this loaded enclosure even has more than one voice coil since I haven't had it out of there yet, but usually, loaded enclosures aren't the same as if you were to buy the sub & enclosure separately & typically the subs within them only have one voice coil. So getting it to 1 ohm on it's own might not be an option.
