Hello! Depending on the length of the cooking cycle, the cooling fan may continue to run after that cycle has ended. This is normal and helps eliminate moisture that may accumulate inside the microwave oven before the door is opened. While the fan is running, “COOL” will appear in the display. The fan will turn off automatically. New cooking functions may be started while “COOL” is still being displayed. Thank you for your inquiry on our KitchenAid appliances.
