“Hi. Can this be built into a cabinet? We do NOT need the vent option, but I like the style and size of this microwave and would like to have it built into a cabinet if possible. Thank you!!”

Hi Dontwanttouseventatall, It is not recommended that this appliance be built in. This appliance is designed to be open on the bottom for the ventilation uses. We hope this helps.

Please try again later.I would not recommend it for a number of reasons. 1) you may have a problem opening the door; 2) how will you anchor it within the cabinet since it is not made to do so?; 3) the bottom is not flat which could cause another issue with how to mount it; 4) Lastly, microwaves and convection ovens require airflow. In the manual it states: "Do not cover or block any openings on the microwave oven." Therefore, you will most likely void its warranty by enclosing it in a cabinet.
