If necessary you can always reset the minutes necessary for the second stage. However, I would just close the door and press START to resume cooking.
A:AnswerNo, the 'sensor' in a microwave is usually just a steam sensor that can calculate how much the food has been heated up. It's how it knows when to stop cooking veggies or popcorn and such. If it's a "smart" one (internet enabled) it will probably say so explicitly in the feature list. This model is not one of those.

A:Answer1000 watts. You do have to add 12 seconds to each minute to equal a 1200 watt. There are conversion charts out there. You can also up the cook percentage if you are cooking at less than 100 percent power. Hasn't been an issue for us.
