QuestionHow do you Pause when microwaving? Sometimes you need to take the food out and turn it over or stir it. Do you just pop the door open? Is it safe? Then does it continue at the same power setting and time countdown as before?

- Answer It is safe to just open the door and stir. You may have a slightly different model number as mine is only 1000 watts. You can tell by looking inside the door frame. If necessary you can always reset the minutes necessary for the second stage. However, I would just close the door and press START to resume cooking.

QuestionI installed this oven, insulated the vent pipe (roof vent) to lower the blower noise. I noticed the air noise coming from the vent intake, top front of the oven. Can this be covered to lower the air noise?

- Answer No, the 'sensor' in a microwave is usually just a steam sensor that can calculate how much the food has been heated up. It's how it knows when to stop cooking veggies or popcorn and such. If it's a "smart" one (internet enabled) it will probably say so explicitly in the feature list. This model is not one of those.

- Answer 1000 watts. You do have to add 12 seconds to each minute to equal a 1200 watt. There are conversion charts out there. You can also up the cook percentage if you are cooking at less than 100 percent power. Hasn't been an issue for us.
