There are buttons to push that move the rack up or down to fit bigger bottles on the top rack.

I'm not sure what you mean by "adjusted Itself" but it is easily adjusted, manually.

The tines do not adjust. The 3rd rack can come completely out and the middle rack is adjustable allowing extra room for taller objects.

The upper rack can’t be adjusted, my only complaint but it hasn’t been a problem. Also, it can be removed easily for extra large items on first shelf.

Yes, it is adjustable up and down for taller items. The tines can be laid down in the rack.
