“Do you need to rinse or scrape all of the food off before washing?”

• It has a setting for tough stains and food. I normally scrape the large pieces of food off before running. Have not had problems with it not washing properly. I have even placed pots in it and it cleans well.

• No. Just large chunks of food that would clog the filter. If you rinse the dishes the food sensor tells the machine it does not have to work as hard.

• Just scrape larger food particles off to prevent food trap from clogging, dishwasher takes care of the rest! Love how it cleans.
