“Where is the trap door where small food particles go”

There is a food trap on the bottom of the unit but in the manual it recommends scraping large particles off first but it will handle still cleaning the dishes if you miss some. Just have to fully pull out bottom tray to get to the trap.

There is a filter in the bottom of the Dishwasher that requires cleaning beginning on page 3 of the User Guide. We've provided a link below for the guide.
