No, it self vents at the bottom.

I really don't think so. I don't think we have one. The installers just had to plug it in, on back wall and set on shelf. The appliance has a fan in the back that you can see when you open the door and you can feel the warm air coming out through a front grill that's in between the micro and the oven.

It has a vent exhaust built in to the bottom of the unit. It's about 3/4 of an inch high and almost as wide as the oven along the bottom. Be careful not t block that off and you will not need another vent.
