• The top is a microwave, the lower section is an oven and has a normal baking mode in addition to convection bake, convection broil, and convection roast.

• Yes. Lower oven has Regular Bake, Broil, Roast and Convect Bake, broil and roast. Microwave on top has Easy convect, steam cook and crisp modes as well. I just got this combo about 3 weeks ago and the bottom oven has really got a lot of space.
