“Purchased in Nov 2017. Yesterday top rack came unhinged. one side completely detached from the slide mechanism that holds it up and lets slide in and out. is there a replacement part for this? seems i can't just put it back on the the track.”

The 20yr repairman told me, no way to invest in fixing, just buy a new one. Up until then worked great but very disappointed after having spent $1k on this.

Also, be ready for a potential leak from the front right of your dishwasher (overfill protection float). Water went all over the floor...argh after just 2 years. KitchenAid replies to our reviews BUT if you call them, they just want more money for an extended warranty or to get a tech to the house but at a cost!!!! I think we bought the wrong dishwasher!!!
