how do you get rid of fingermarks on the SS finish? Am worried about purchasing due to the SS finish and everyone siteing the fingerprint problems. Any solutions?

Use Pledge. I'm not kidding; spray it on, rub it in with the grain, and buff it (also in the direction of the grain) until it is shiny. It resists fingerprints afterward, also.

A little olive oil on a towel and apply in the direction of the steel finish. Also heard to use wd-40 but it smells like a garage in your kitchen then.

I have found for my stainless steel appliances that if you clean it well with a cleaning spray or windex, then dry it. THEN use WD-40 on it. Shiny and no smears or streaks. Its like magic. Good luck.

Use Pledge 'Orange Clean'. The combination of Pledge with 'orange clean' eliminates fingerprints. This is the product appliance stores use to make their stainless steel appliances look shiny and bright.

1 tablespoon of white vinegar added to 16 ounces of water in a spray bottle is the best and cheapest way to clean stainless steel. A professional maid also told me about using Johnson's Baby Oil (not sure if the brand matters) and it also works well, but must be used sparingly and takes a little more effort that the vinegar/water solution.

Have used various stainless steel cleaners with good results. Usually soft cloth and a little water is enough. The stainless does prompt frequent wipes as finger/hand prints are more visible. Quick wipe daily seems enough.

I just use countertop cleaner like Fantastik. The key is to dry it fully to prevent streaks.
