• Yes you will need a receiver or integrated amp with phone preamp capability. I use a Yamaha 301. It has a phono preamp. Best Buy has an excellent selection of integrated amp with phone preamp capability online. Hope this helps.

• Yes. You would be better served with the powerd version of these, they have a phono input and built in preamp and amp.

• These speakers aren't powered so you will need a receiver and speaker wires. If the turntable does not have a built in preamp you will need an amp to run from your turntable to receiver.
