Please try again later.If your receiver has the capability to reduce the bass independently of the subwoofer or if you are running an active subwoofer then these will work well. If you like to play your movies loud then I would look into a larger speaker for your mains. Even with the bass reduced the vocals in the movies will sometimes distort these 2-way speakers where the bass and midrange come from the same driver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.unless youre building a tiny 7.1 system i would not even consider them-they didnt even work well as a rear surround speaker on my 5.1-which is a 7.2 receiver but my lefts and rights are bi-wired for the bottom subs
