I would go with the 15M. They have a bigger driver that would thrive with the supplied power. I think you would be more than satisfied.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You're asking this question backwards....speakers are not "too powerful" for amps, it's the other way around. That being said, far more speakers are ruined by under-powered amps driving into clipping (severe distortion) than over-powered amps. You won't have this issue though...your amp should (should) prevent you from driving it into clipping.Your GemTune X-1 is truly rated at 10 watts per channel RMS, with a 35 watt "peak" rating. Keeping in mind it takes 10x the power to double the volume, that peak rating is not going to make your music louder...it will however allow brief moments in the musical content to shine through clearly. These speakers will easily handle that, and you'd be surprised at how loud they'll get with that little power.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Speakers aren't exactly "powerful." The power comes from the amp. I have these hooked up to a 105 Watt per channel amp, and never run it anywhere near full volume, it would be way too loud in my living room. If the amp is setup for 8 ohm speakers you are set, it should drive them just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.these should be fine!8ohms and 100 rms
